I’m Helena Holrick

Or Helena The Trainer. I set up Helping You Shine to support business owners that hide from growth and success, that keep themselves small and don’t allow themselves to claim and own their potential. I do this because I am a recovering ‘hider’. I have hidden in the shadows for years, been successful enough to make the business work, but never to make it the success I knew I could be.

Helping You Shine evolved from two previous ventures – Workshops That Works and the Business Wealth Club. Every start up business grows from an idea, and on implementation that idea moves and shifts with feedback and action to become something else. To better serve and support message based inspirers and entrepreneurs, Helping You Shine started in November 2014, with the realisation that there are business owners that shy away from creating true success, that hide their magnificence under the excuses of confusion, overwhelm, loneliness and lack of technical know-how.

How I help

Helping You Shine provides training, accountability and support in all sorts of formats, to suit your learning style. If you prefer learning in person, online in the privacy of your own home, in a group setting or on a one to one basis, then there’s something for you. The aim of all the training programmes is to help you make progress – whether that’s technical, practical, strategic or tactical.

What qualifies me?

I love to learn and I usually learn in order to teach. I help to simplify and support people in learning ‘just in time’. I am qualified through experience and certification. Some of the modalities I am accredited in and have certificates for are: Strategy On A Page, Master Coach, NLP Master Practioner, Meta Medicine Practioner, Trainer The Trainer, Strategic Coaching & Mentoring ILM7, Project Management, Risk Management, Reiki, Integral Communication (and the list goes on!)
For all those things above, the experience I have is actually what those things have facilitated and I am much more weighted towards that being the reason I have no doubt I can help you progress. Here are some of the highlights I’ve done in my career (and life):

Trained 1000s of people (yes, literally!)
Opened 17 TGI Friday’s restaurant, 3 internationally, from rubble to restaurant in 6 weeks
Added £250k yearly to the bottom line of one of the companies I worked for
Run 139 one day workshops and 3 retreats in the last 6 years of being in business for myself
Stage managed 3 events of 400 people plus
Helped 70+ business owners to create online courses

Most of all, I’m the owner of a small business and I’m well aware of the struggle it takes to step up and take on that responsibility. I know the feast and famine that it can create. I understand the headache of keeping up with the latest trends and technology. I run monthly accountability mastermind groups where we deal with all the possible things that can and do go wrong as well as celebrate all the joy that it brings too and there’s very little I’ve not heard that I cannot help with.
